*This is a remote position for the TOLA region including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. 



POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Sales Account Executive (SAE) is a direct sales hunter role that works within a designated region to sell, maintain, and expand relationships to achieve quota. The primary focus of the SAE is to build a direct sales pipeline focused on growing recurring revenue business. The SAE is a savvy problem-solver with excellent listening skills who understands customer concerns and addresses complex business problems by representing the entire range of Digital Hands’ cybersecurity service solutions. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities with a clear business plan to deliver growth objectives, achieve revenue quota, and grow territory.
  • Hunts and maintains sales opportunities through lead follow-up and outbound calling and marketing activities to generate activity.   
  • Engages in solution-centered dialogue with key decision-makers to discover their business objectives and security challenges.   
  • Facilitates successful customer meetings and demo presentations.   
  • Stays on top of market trends and changes, is aware of new technology and how it plays a role with or against.   
  • Educates customers on technical requirements, pricing, training, and successful implementation of the product during and after the sales process.
  • Produces consistent, accurate activity and sales reporting using the company’s standardized tracking and reporting tools.
  • Works with strategic alliance/channel partners. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 


 EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred and/or minimum three (3) years of direct sales experience selling managed security service provider (MSSP) information security services/cyber security solutions in a business-to-business sales environment. 
  • Ability to quickly generate leads and new business through relationships with key stakeholders/c-suite within assigned territory. 
  • Strong knowledge of the cybersecurity industry and technologies available to prevent attacks. 
  • Prior track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability, and exceptional performance against quota. 
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.


  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED: 

  • Must be a self-starter and technically astute with proven ability to grow and maintain business relationships and manage a complex selling environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and objection management skills. 
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. 
  • Flexible and available to interact with employees and clients at all levels. 
  • Maintains a high-level of accountability, including prioritization and organizational skills
