What you will do

- Apply and manage the Functional Safety (SdF) process to identify and control system risks.

- Ensure high confidence in risk management during software function development.

- Provide official safety opinions at project milestones and integrate them into quality engagement plans.

- Define and maintain the Safety Plan, DIA, and compliance matrix.

- Identify and prioritize adverse events and reasonably foreseeable uses.

- Define safety requirements for suppliers and validate degraded modes and safety tests.

- Prepare operational safety reports and risk demonstration dossiers.

- Capitalize and benchmark safety challenges and risk management improvements.

What we’re looking for

- A proven track record in functional safety management and risk analysis for powertrain systems.

- Engineering degree in Mechatronics or related fields (Mechanical, Electronics); MSc or PhD preferred.

- Excellent skills in system architecture definition and embedded software safety compliance.

- Strong competencies in problem-solving and transversal team management, with a collaborative approach.

- Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.

- Excellent command of English and Spanish, both spoken and written; French will be highly valued.
