Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Team Lead to join our EMEA Sales Team. In this player-coach role, you will be responsible for both (1) driving outbound prospecting and meeting generation within your territory and (2) leading, coaching, and supporting a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to deliver consistent, high-quality pipeline for the local Field Sales Representative.

The successful candidate will balance individual performance with team development, setting the standard for effective prospecting while helping SDR’s build the skills, confidence and discipline needed to succeed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of SDRs to achieve outbound activity goals, conversion targets, and qualified meeting outcomes.
  • Run team operating cadence including huddles, 1:1s, call coaching, pipeline/territory reviews.
  • Provide ongoing enablement: objection handling, messaging refinement, call/email/LinkedIn feedback, role-plays, and best-practice sharing.
  • Help develop and refine SDR processes, playbooks, training materials and onboarding resources.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new SDR’s, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and habits required to become productive quickly.
  • Monitor and improve quality standards for qualification, meeting readiness, and handoff to Field Sales.

Sales Development & Pipeline Generation

  • Own lead generation and meeting booking targets within an assigned territory, contributing directly to the company’s sales pipeline.
  • Identify, research, and engage prospective customers through outbound channels, including phone, email, LinkedIn and other relevant methods.
  • Qualify prospects, understand their business needs and secure high-quality meetings for the sales team.
  • Schedule and attend virtual meetings with potential clients alongside the Field Sales Representative to ensure strong discovery, qualification, and momentum.

Strategy, Collaboration & Execution

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for engaging potential clients and aligning outreach to territory/account priorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and meetings within the CRM system; drive team-wide CRM hygiene and process discipline.
  • Leverage networking tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and Sales Navigator; guide SDRs on effective research, targeting, and multi-channel outreach.
  • Develop synergistic relationships with JP Morgan bankers, advisors, and internal team members to strengthen referrals and coordinated coverage.

Performance Expectations

  • Drive consistent delivery of qualified meetings per month for sales team.
  • Establishing consistent standards for prospecting quality, qualification, CRM hygiene, and follow-up.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior decision makers (VP/C-suite) through concise, value-based outreach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to coach others on executive-level messaging.
  • Competitive drive and a results-oriented mindset, balanced with a team-first leadership style.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator) and the discipline to maintain high-quality data and process adherence.
