Responsibilities
Generate monthly safety meeting presentation from Air Liquide template
Own weekly near miss meeting and any safety champion calls/training
Plan and assign out JSAs, inspections and submarine drills.
Report SAS safety requirements
Manage safety near misses and action items to closure
Maintain accurate and up to date JHAs and PPE matrix
Investigate any safety issues and manage action items to closure
Perform ergonomic assessments
Train new employees on both quality and safety culture
Train new hires on overall lab safety, evacuation routes, and how to report safety issues.
Manage and sustain 17025 accreditation
Manage SOPs and any training associated with changes to the SOPs
Trend data to ensure lab is reporting quality data and report against KPIs quarterly to customer
Trend BECs, LCS, Instrument tuning parameters, QC samples, etc.
Maintain lab databases and data templates
Provide support to LIMS administrator on any needed LIMS updates/fixes
Manage quality near misses and action items to closure
Investigate any quality issues or environmental change points, e.g. new hood qualifications, moving the pc between labs, etc.
Act as subject matter expert for safety and quality for all active projects
Perform support and training on spaghetti diagrams
Present status of safety and quality KPIs weekly to customer
Implement and validate database updates and revisions
Implement and validate data template updates and revisions
Required Qualifications
BS in Chemistry or equivalent combination of experience and education
5+ years experience with GC-MS, ICP-OES, GFAA, ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, Auto-Titration, pH, Viscosity, Specific Gravity, and other Wet Methods sample analysis in a production environment preferred.
Experience in the Semiconductor Industry.
Experience with implementing, performing, and/or monitoring Laboratory QA/QC.
Must be knowledge of chemical analyses and processes.
Good computer skills required (scientific instrument software, Word, Excel)
Must be able to work in a team environment with good communication skills.
Must have initiative and be self-motivated.
Good organization skills.
