About the Role

Join our team as a Safety Advisor, where you’ll help champion a culture of safety, wellbeing, and compliance across our Eastern Creek site. You’ll be responsible for promoting best-practice health and safety, driving incident prevention and investigation, and supporting our people through successful Return to Work programs.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Conduct safety incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are actioned.
  • Facilitate HSSE meetings to strengthen our safety culture.
  • Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher training.
  • Maintain safety documentation, policies, and compliance systems.
  • Accurately report incidents and safety data for leadership review.
  • Coordinate and manage Return to Work (RTW) processes in line with legislation.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, managers, insurers, and medical professionals to ensure positive RTW outcomes.

Role Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, workers' compensation frameworks, and risk management principles.
  • Proven experience developing, reviewing, and maintaining safety policies and SWOPs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and coaching skills.
  • Experience coordinating RTW programs and supporting injured employees.
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar safety role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and incident reporting systems.
  • Desirable: Certificate IV in WHS, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, or RTW Coordinator Certification.
