Position: SaaS Sales Manager

Location: Vancouver - hybrid with 2 days a week in office currently (subject to change); and, occasional travel to clients in the US 

Type: Full-Time

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 on - target - earnings

The Opportunity:


You will be leading sales for a new product which supports schools in managing their absences and substitutes. There is massive scope for growth of this product and we are looking for someone to drive it to product market fit. Involves owning the overall strategy and collaborating with product teams to build something that will solve problems for schools. Reporting to the US Head of Sales, you will work alongside customer success teams to deliver a fantastic product and service to schools. What You’ll Be Doing:


- Ownership: You will own the development and sales of our new SaaS product which supports schools to manage their absences and substitutes.

- Collaborating with Product Teams: Work closely with product teams to align sales strategies with product development and enhancements.

- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive SaaS product adoption and revenue growth.

- Client Onboarding and Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions. 

- Partner with Customer Success: To give ongoing support for schools.

- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors, using this knowledge to inform product and sales strategies.

- Customer Feedback Integration: Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for product improvement and innovation.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, customer support, and other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

- Travel Opportunities: Attend conferences, events, and school meetings to build relationships and promote our solutions.


What We Are Looking For:


- Experience: 4+ years of experience in a SaaS sales role, with a proven track record of working with product teams.

- Sales Skills: Strong sales skills with a history of meeting or exceeding targets, excellent negotiation and closing skills.

- Education Sector Interest: A genuine interest in the education sector and a desire to make a positive impact.

- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

- Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills to analyze sales data and market trends.

- Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with the ability to build lasting relationships.

- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Proactive Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong bias towards action.
