Position Overview:
As the Senior Manager, Organizational Change Management (OCM) for S4, you will spearhead the strategic direction and execution of change management efforts within the S4 HANA implementation project. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional who can seamlessly integrate change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and training programs to ensure a successful transition and adoption of the new system. Collaborating closely with project teams, stakeholders, and end-users, you will navigate the complexities of organizational change to facilitate a smooth and effective transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee SAP S4HANA change management efforts, including managing change management resources within the implementation team.
- Collaborate closely with system implementation consultants to integrate change management strategies into the project plan.
- Develop and implement a tailored change management strategy and plans for SAP S/4HANA, addressing McCain's unique needs and culture.
- Engage stakeholders across all levels, functions and regions to understand concerns, gather feedback, and secure buy-in for the implementation.
- Strategize and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed about implementation progress and changes affecting business processes and job roles.
- Conduct comprehensive change impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies in partnership with Change Champions and the Change Agent Network (CAN).
- Oversee creation and delivery of training programs to ensure proficiency in SAP S/4HANA for employees and stakeholders.
- Identify potential people-side risks and resistance points, collaborating with Change Champions and CAN develop targeted mitigation plans.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge change management effectiveness and project success.
- Act as a visible coach to business/IT leaders, Change Champions, and system implementation consultants, driving adoption of change initiatives.
- Develop presentations for various stakeholder groups and assist in preparation and execution of communications to raise awareness and provide knowledge for the S/4HANA implementation.
- Establish reinforcement mechanisms and celebrate successes to sustain change efforts, involving system implementation consultants in recognition and celebration activities.
Key Capability Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience leading change management efforts in large-scale SAP implementations, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies.
- Experience in managing system implementation consultants and coordinating their efforts with internal project teams.
- Experience in conducting change impact assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting large scale, multi-regional, multi-cultural programs.
- Strong active listening skills, analytical prowess and sound decision-making abilities.
- Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) is a plus.
General Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant business experience.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment with tight deadlines.
- Proficient in constructing presentations and communications tailored to diverse audience needs.
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility and foster strong client relationships.
- Meticulous attention to detail and task orientation.
- Excellent organizational capabilities, team player mentality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Change Management tools like video editors, analytics, etc.
