RVP – Advisor Relationships
Are you passionate about nurturing relationships with Advisors and providing exceptional client experience? We are looking for Regional Vice-President, Advisor Relationships who will be responsible managing connections with Advisors, succession planning, retention and continuous drive to foster branch and advisor relationships.
You will be responsible for Advisors in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
What Will I be Doing

You will proactively manage your territories (AB, BC, SK) to continue to build strong relationships with Advisors and as such frequent travel will be required;

You will continuously nurture the business relationship between Investia and the Branch Advisor network;

You will be plan and conduct regular Branch visits to assess the sales needs and level of satisfaction;

Your role will be also responsible for promoting programs, products and tools to the identified groups/individual networks consistent with the company’s goals and initiatives;

You will be the main point of contact between the Advisor and the Head Office Staff to settle grievances and maintain the cooperation that is necessary for the smooth running of operations;

You will be in charge of ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are adhered to by supporting the implementation of compliance policies and procedures, reviews, and training programs;

You will be responsible for ensuring advisors have adequate knowledge and sound background to effectively provide suitable, affordable and viable recommendations to clients without putting themselves, or dealer at risk or disrepute;

You will propose recommendations on how Investia can provide further support;

You will collaborates with other departments to meet requests from the Advisor network and proposes progressive ideas;

You will attend quarterly Sales meetings;
What Are we Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and or 10 + years of relevant experience

Good knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements

Good knowledge of financial products and services
-
Good knowledge of insurance sector

Strategic thinking and analytical experience highly advantageous

Experienced team leadership and people management / development skills

Availability to travel
The expected base salary range for this position starts at $120,000 and will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and skill set.
