Job Description:
The primary goal of this project is to develop and maintain a key part of NGC3’s infrastructure, with a focus on Elasticsearch and data enrichment processes. The scope is evolving to include platform upgrades and ongoing maintenance support, ensuring a seamless transition from current services and subscriptions to the new cloud-based platforms. Project requirements center on maintaining the operational stability ("keeping the lights on") of the existing Cision Comms Suite platforms, including NGC3, C3, and CPRE.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Elasticsearch-based infrastructure for NGC3.
Implement data enrichment processes to enhance platform capabilities.
Perform platform upgrades and provide ongoing maintenance support.
Ensure operational stability of Cision Comms Suite platforms (NGC3, C3, CPRE).
Required Skills and Experience:
5 + years in Ruby on Rails for backend development.
Extensive experience with Elasticsearch and MySQL databases.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Hands-on experience in writing JavaScript and TypeScript.
Familiarity with frontend frameworks, such as React.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Elasticsearch or Kubernetes.
Experience in cloud-based platform migrations.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a remote team environment.
