Ruby on Rails Engineer - SL

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our growing development team. The successful candidate will be developing new features and be involved in maintaining an existing web application, contribute to architectural and technical decision-making, participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing across the team. This role requires strong Rails expertise, a solid understanding of modern development practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Demonstrated experience working on fast-paced development teams, shipping high-quality features to production.
• Familiarity with Rails 7+, PostgreSQL, Hotwire, and Tailwind CSS in a production environment.
• Experience with RSpec and Heroku is desirable.
• Have a positive attitude that radiates to the team.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities, preferably with prior experience working with distributed teams (On-site in two countries) and full-remote team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• A passion for clean code, well-structured systems, and continuous improvement.
• Evidence of coding experience beyond working experiences, such as hackathons and personal projects, is desirable, although not required.

• Role to be paid in GBP with a UK Contract
• Competitive salary commensurate with experience:
• Salary starting from Rs.1,000,000/ - Rs. 4,000,000/ month, paid in GBP, based on experience.
