PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The Transformation Associate Manager plays a pivotal role within the Global Business Services (GBS) organization's Global Transformation team. His/Her primary responsibility is to drive continuous improvement aimed at making GBS operations leaner, more efficient, and optimized.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management: Leading and managing process discovery for various transformation projects within GBS. This involves identifying areas for improvement, defining project scopes, process documentation, and overseeing the execution to achieve desired outcomes.

Process Optimization: Analyzing existing processes within GBS to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. By optimizing processes, they aim to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.

Change Management: Facilitate organizational change by communicating changes effectively and managing the transition process to minimize disruption.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating closely with stakeholders across different functions and levels within GBS. Building strong relationships and effective communication channels is essential for gaining buy-in and support for transformation initiatives.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilizing data analytics and insights to inform decision-making processes is critical. He/she leverages data to identify trends, root causes of inefficiencies, and track progress towards transformation goals.

Continuous Improvement: He/she will foster a culture of continuous improvement within GBS, encouraging teams to seek innovative solutions and adapt to evolving

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Systems preferred
  • Formalized project management certification (is a plus)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified (Blackbelt preferred); or comparable certification (Lean or Six Sigma

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • 8 years or more of professional experience in various finance/ technical roles with background in process improvement and core accounting, change management and/or ERP implementation.
  • 3 years or more of experience working in a transformation team involved in automating, streamlining processes, driving key projects and initiatives within R2R
  • Experience in RTR/ exposure in operations (balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, fixed assets, inventory, tax and leases, general accounting)
  • Experience and working knowledge of technical solutions and/or ERP modules.
  • Experience of having worked in large scale in process transformation programs that are multi-country
  • Extensive knowledge of Six Sigma, Kaizen & continuous improvement strategies
  • Fluency in the English language in the business environment

  • Ability to quickly absorb new concepts and ideas - including operations model and BU or location-specific needs.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) to connect and collaborate effectively with a diverse set of peers and stakeholders; constructive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisive action on process improvement issues.
  • Must be an analytical thinker, comfortable taking initiative in situations where thought leadership is either absent or unclear.
  • Significant experience in driving complex projects
  • Strong Business process re-engineering skills.
  • Ability to build deep relationships across senior stakeholders in demand groups.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with multiple external bodies – benchmarking organization, process specific institutions
