OverviewWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Apprentice to support the Record-to-Report (R2R) team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, taxation support, and ERP systems within a global finance environment.Responsibilities- Assist the team with month-end close activities.
- Fixed asset accounting support and asset creation.
- Accrual and prepayment schedule preparation.
- Inventory and purchase order accrual reconciliations.
- Bank Reconciliations.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of supporting schedules and reports.
- Support the preparation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting packs.
- Assist in gathering and validating data for monthly variance analysis.
- Assist in reconciling tax-related balances between local accounting records and global reporting requirements.
- Help maintain accounting records, trackers, and supporting documentation accurately and on time.
- Support the creation, update, and maintenance of process documentation and desktop procedures.
- Follow established finance policies, procedures, controls, and standard operating guidelines.
- Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and support implementation initiatives.
- Provide documentation and data support during internal and external audit activities.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
