About the job
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery and evolution of the RESTREINT UE/EU RESTRICTED Laptop Communication and Information System (RTOP).
RTOP is a highly secure communication and information system enabling European Institutions, agencies, and authorized partners to handle and process EU classified information up to RESTREINT UE/EU RESTRICTED level outside official premises, including from home offices, mission locations, and other remote environments.
As Project Manager, you will act as the primary coordinator between customers, technical teams, security stakeholders, and procurement actors. You will be responsible for ensuring the continued growth, security, accreditation, and operational excellence of a strategic European security platform that is expected to significantly expand in the coming years.
Service Delivery Model: Hybrid / On-site (Brussels)
Travel: Regular travel between Brussels and Luxembourg, as well as occasional missions across the European Union.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships and ensure high service quality.
- Coordinate RTOP service delivery, deployments, and operational activities.
- Lead and prioritize technical developments and support activities.
- Maintain project, operational, and security documentation.
- Coordinate security accreditation activities and compliance requirements.
- Support procurement, supplier management, and governance processes.
- Monitor project performance, risks, and deliverables.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution and improvement of the RTOP platform.
Your Profile
- Minimum 6 years of experience in IT project management.
- Proven experience coordinating technical teams and managing IT service delivery.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, mobile computing, VPNs, document management systems, and secure remote access solutions.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, information security, and risk management practices.
- Experience in classified information environments and/or security accreditation processes is an asset.
- Familiarity with EU, NATO, or national security frameworks is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as PM², PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CISSP, GIAC, or CompTIA Security+ are considered assets.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
Security Clearance Required
The contractor should have a valid security clearance for access to the SECRET UE/EU SECRET classified information or higher, or, to be under the application for such clearance.
