Position Summary:
Global Operations (Global Ops) focuses on creating positive experiences for MetLife customers and helping the company make the best use of its global resources. We're looking for unique talent with fresh perspectives that can propel innovation. In this role you will direct, plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the Clinical/Quality Assurance department to ensure its effective, efficient and profitable operation within the disability income insurance organization. Manages all aspects of customer service, acts as change agent and an advocate for team building.
Job Responsibilities:
Provides support to associates and balances workloads.
Manages and communicates improvement efforts to successfully lead team members to meet business objectives.
Monitor associates' performance and provides frequent feedback. Reviews and addresses second level rebuttals to conclusion.
Participates in presentations to customers.
Participates in quarterly trends meeting with claim management.
Participates in clinical/claim team meetings when necessary.
Embraces and promotes change initiatives. Maintains excellent relationships with customers and represents quality management's operations and goals in a positive manner
Experience Required

  • 5+ years of experience of related work experience
  • RN license or CRC certification
  • Disability claims experience
  • Computer navigation skills
  • Excellent Keyboarding and data entry speed
  • Knowledge about US Culture is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills - should be able to read, interpret business documents.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Data gathering ability/ Eye for detail.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply varied rules to multiple policies.
  • Teamwork/ Managing Self / Adaptability
  • Ability to work successfully and perform detail-oriented work in production driven environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proven ability to meet quality and time standards.
  • Ability to work on routine/standardized transactions.
  • Possess strong knowledge of medical conditions, symptoms, and terminology.
