We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented RPA Developer – Finance Process
Automation to support the automation and optimization of finance operations. This role will be
responsible for identifying automation opportunities across finance processes, translating
business requirements into technical solutions, and developing scalable automations that
improve efficiency, accuracy, and process consistency.
The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in robotic process automation, along
with a strong understanding of finance workflows and transactional processes. This role
requires close collaboration with finance, operations, and technology teams to deliver
automation solutions aligned with business objectives and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with finance and business stakeholders to identify processes suitable for
automation.
• Analyze existing finance workflows and recommend automation opportunities to reduce
manual effort and improve turnaround time.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain automation solutions for finance-
related activities.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical automation designs.
• Develop solutions for repetitive, rule-based, and high-volume finance processes.
• Support the automation of key finance activities, including but not limited to:
• Invoice processing
• Accounts payable operations
• Accounts receivable operations
• Reconciliations
• Data validation and data updates
• Financial reporting support
• Payment processing support
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and post-deployment validation to ensure
automation quality and stability.
• Troubleshoot process failures, exceptions, and system-related issues to ensure
continuity of automated operations.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation, including process definition
documents, solution design documents, test cases, and deployment records.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure automations are developed in
compliance with security, governance, and internal control requirements.
• Monitor automation performance and recommend enhancements to improve
effectiveness, scalability, and reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within finance operations through
automation and process optimization.
Experience and Skills
• Proven experience as an RPA Developer or in a similar automation-focused role.
• Hands-on experience with RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue
Prism, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting operations, particularly high-volume
and process-driven activities.
• Experience in automating finance processes such as invoice processing,
reconciliations, reporting support, and transactional workflows.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into efficient technical
solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
• Good understanding of process documentation, workflow design, and deployment
practices.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-
technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting automation initiatives within finance shared
services or accounting operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and finance applications.
• Understanding of internal controls, data integrity, compliance requirements, and
governance standards within finance functions.
• Exposure to process improvement, digital transformation, or operational excellence
initiatives would be great.

- Proven experience as an RPA Developer or similar automation role (2-5 years).
- Hands-on experience with UiPath.
- Hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism.
