Job Purpose:  The UiPath Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using the UiPath RPA (Robotic Process Automation) platform. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to identify processes that can be automated, designing workflows, and maintaining automation solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy across different business operations. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Design and Develop Automation Solutions: Use UiPath Studio to design, develop, and implement RPA bots for automating manual and repetitive tasks. 

  1. Process Analysis and Documentation: Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business processes, identify automation opportunities, and document process flow using process design documents (PDDs) and solution design documents (SDDs). 

  1. Workflow Optimization: Develop efficient and scalable RPA workflows that handle process exceptions effectively, ensuring robust automation solutions. 

  1. Testing and Debugging: Create and perform unit tests on developed bots, debug issues, and ensure that bots work accurately in different scenarios. 

  1. Bot Deployment and Management: Deploy bots to UiPath Orchestrator, schedule jobs, monitor bot performance, and handle exception cases for smooth operations. 

  1. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing maintenance, resolve issues, and optimize existing bots for better performance. 

  1. Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as IT, operations, and quality assurance to develop seamless automation solutions. 

  1. Documentation and Code Management: Maintain proper documentation of automation processes, including process design documents, version control, and best practices. 

  1. Security and Compliance Adherence: Ensure that all developed automation adheres to security, compliance, and data privacy standards as per organizational requirements. 

 

 

Skills and Competencies: 

  1. Proficiency in UiPath: Hands-on experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and other UiPath components. 

  1. Strong Programming Knowledge: Proficiency in VB.NET, C#, Python, or other programming languages that complement UiPath automation. 

  1. Process Automation & Scripting: Experience in automating web applications, desktop applications, databases, and working with APIs. 

  1. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand business needs and develop optimized automation solutions. 

  1. UI/UX Understanding: Familiarity with interacting with user interfaces, handling data scraping, and managing web elements for automation. 

  1. Version Control and Documentation: Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience in documenting code, workflows, and automation logic. 

  1. Attention to Detail & Quality Focus: High attention to detail to ensure error-free automation and reliable process performance. 

  1. Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. 

  1. Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Ability to quickly learn new UiPath features, components, and best practices to improve automation capabilities. 

 

 

Qualifications: 

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 

  1. Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in RPA development using UiPath, along with knowledge of process automation and workflow design. 

  1. Certifications (Optional): UiPath Certified Professional (UCP) or other related RPA certifications are preferred. 

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 

  1. Automation Efficiency & Performance: Measure of the quality and performance of bots developed, including processing speed, accuracy, and exception handling. 

Skills Required

  • Proficiency with UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, and other UiPath components
