MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Has a fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all the duties listed below;
- Make boxes and ensure production has all material needed
- Perform machine clean outs including color changes and resin changes
- Assist in cleaning out plugged grinders
- Remove production waste and place in the appropriate marked containers
- Break employees in the department
- Evaluate materials to ensure high quality and conformance with established standards.
- Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
- Maintain ink in printers and labels in labelers. Un-jam assemblers as needed.
- Tape boxes shut, label the boxes, and stack for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
- Will be fork truck certified
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures
