Operate and adjust sheet metal stackers and related equipment, remove and clean stacked metal, visually inspect coated and sheet metal for defects, record production and SPC data, perform quality checks, match coating colors to standards, and follow plant food safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Support extrusion blow molding operations by developing processes, performing factory acceptance tests, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues, training staff, running startup trials, using measurement/test equipment, and applying statistical methods to improve safety, quality, and production performance across multiple plant locations.

Support new projects, training, and ensure production documentation (pick lists, stickers) is accurate. Maintain cleanliness and safe working environment and assist with packing/overflow tasks as needed.

Perform incoming resin and colourant inspections and associated recordkeeping; audit received materials; manage sample retention and first-off approvals; prepare capability charts and certificates of analysis; maintain material records and filings; update lot numbers and work instructions; assist with calibration; track nonconformances and on-hold forms; prepare pre-shipment samples.

Performs manual finishing operations on a production line including packaging, assembly, inspection, weighing, rework, and recording finished goods. Loads conveyors, packs cartons, monitors quality, performs housekeeping, and handles up to 18–30 lb cartons repeatedly. Follows safety procedures and supervisor instructions, may pack 100–250 cartons per eight-hour shift, and works under direct supervision across all three shifts.

Operate and maintain manual machining equipment (lathe, mill, drill press, grinders) to repair and manufacture machine components from blueprints; inspect and finish parts using measuring tools.

Join Silgan's Production Management Development Program to complete a 3–6 month technical training and prepare for operations management roles. Assist supervisors with daily production, apply SPC and quality tools, train staff, enforce SOPs, optimize throughput, manage equipment/materials/people, write reports, promote safety, and administer labor contracts in union plants. Role requires hands-on manufacturing experience and supervisory exposure.

Manage plant-level manufacturing accounting including cost accounting, inventory control, month-end close, budgeting/forecasting, SOX compliance, financial reporting, and oversight of plant accounting staff while partnering with operations and corporate finance.

Serve as the primary customer contact for order processing, forecasting, account coordination, and problem resolution. Maintain customer relationships, monitor accounts, support order fulfillment and payments, and report/organize relevant data to support internal teams.

Administer and maintain enterprise Windows Server, virtualization (VMware), storage (Pure Storage), Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
