This Position reports to:
Senior Project Engineer
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. This role is contributing to the ABB Robotics Division in Italy.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.
- Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.
- Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.
- Coaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.

Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled working with relevant tools and methodologies, Robotics Automation and AI market
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Electrical or related field) and Master in Robotics as a preferred experience
- You have 5 years of experience in Automation systems.
- You are someone with leadership skills, able to work autonomously in diverse projects, stakeholder management, organization and planning.
- You are at ease communicating in English and Italian
Compensation Package

Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico
Minimum annual salary: €48.000
Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus

Skills Required
- Engineering degree in Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience with automation systems
- Expertise with relevant robotics automation tools and methodologies
- Leadership, autonomous working, stakeholder management, organization, and planning skills
- Fluency or ease communicating in English and Italian
- Master's degree in Robotics
