Roles and Responsibilities
You will:
- Develop new technology concepts with strategic impact focused in robotics and autonomy, including motion planning, perception, manipulation, and human-robot interaction.
- Lead projects, proposals, relationship building, and the development of new autonomous and robotic systems technology.
- Actively participate in design, architecture, and development efforts.
- Engage with internal and external thought leaders across the robotics technology stack to drive new concepts and applications.
Required Qualifications
- MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with experience in design and development of autonomous systems, robotic systems, simulation environments, and/or human-robot interfaces.
- Strong execution track record
- Experience in building autonomous systems
- Experience related to systems architecture, design, and system integration
- Experience programming in C/C++/Python
- Experience with the Robot Operating System (ROS)
- Experience with computer vision.
- Possess superior problem-solving skills and independent decision-making abilities, all while operating in an extremely demanding, fast-paced team setting.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.
Desired Characteristics
- 2 or more years working in a defense or industrial domain
- 2 or more years working with embedded robotics platforms
- 2 or more years Programming in python
- Cleared or capable of being cleared to work on defense projects
- Demonstrated ability to convert high-level customer needs into a technical development strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Communicate effectively both in written and oral English;
- Self-motivated, innovative, willing to pursue new technical areas and capable of working independently

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $88,600.00 and $147,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
