We are looking for a Robot Safety Intern to assist in preparing documentation and conducting tests to support robot safety and compliance development leading to certification by third party.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Product Safety team in collecting documentation and performing tests.
Requirements:
- Enrolled in a School of Engineering at an accredited university.
- Availability for ten weeks minimum.
- Knowledge in Microsoft office
- Document organization
- Willingness to learn and be curious
- Basic engineering understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software systems
Bonus Qualifications:
- Knowledge in engineering tools such as CAD and FEA
- Knowledge in electrical design
- Knowledge in machinery safety responsibilities of Users/Employers
- Knowledge in regulations for industrial or consumer product safety
