Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay: $40 per hour
  • Full-Time positions 7a – 3p or 3p – 11p
  • Daily Pay Option: Access your earned wages prior to payday
  • Benefit eligibility starts after 30 days (including insurance and PTO)
  • Additional Compensation:
    • Pay in lieu of benefits: Additional $2.00/hour
    • $2 shift diff for second shift hours  
    • $4 shift diff (Friday - Sunday)

Role Overview

As RN Supervisor, you will oversee nursing operations, help ensure regulatory compliance, and support the Director of Nursing in maintaining the highest standards of resident care. Your leadership will empower our nursing staff and positively impact our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with department planning and manage nursing functions
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives
  • Complete required administrative tasks and reporting
  • Provide ongoing staff training, onboarding, and evaluations
  • Support new admissions and maintain accurate resident records
  • Monitor medication administration and conduct rounds
  • Investigate narcotic discrepancies and ensure secure drug storage
  • Consult with physicians and participate in rounds as needed
  • Collaborate on care plans with interdisciplinary teams
  • Address resident/family concerns and uphold dignified care
  • Deliver direct patient care and specialized procedures
  • Communicate changes in resident conditions promptly
  • Support infection control and safety protocols
  • Honor resident autonomy and participate in educational programs
  • Supervise nursing team, including Charge Nurses, Staff Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Restorative Nursing, and Medication Aides

 

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Registered Nursing degree or approved RN program completion
    • Active RN license in North Carolina

 

  • Preferred:
    • 1-2 years of supervisory experience
    • Computer proficiency and willingness to learn electronic documentation

 

  • Skills & Certifications:
    • Effective communication, professionalism, confidentiality
    • Effective communication, professionalism, confidentiality
    • Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)

 

Physical & Working Conditions

  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs regularly (50 lbs occasionally)
  • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching
  • Safe repositioning and transferring of individuals
  • Mobility throughout the facility
