Position Summary
MultiCare’s Summit Team is seeking an experienced RN to join our regional nursing float pool, supporting flexible, expert care across the Puget Sound and Capital Pacific Regions. Operating under a tiered, cluster-based model, the team enhances mobility, reinforces clinical excellence, and strengthens systemwide staffing.As a Summit Team RN, you’ll use your specialized training across a variety of clinical settings while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This role offers diverse experience, continuous learning, and the opportunity to make a broad impact across our hospitals.

Responsibilities
You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
Current BLS Certification and ACLS if working in Critical Care / ED
Three (3) years of experience required
Local float pool experience preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $48.15 - $90.83 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.Associated benefit information can be viewed here.
Skills Required
