Position Summary
Hudson Regional Health is seeking a qualified and dependable Per Diem Registered Nurse (PD RN) to provide clinical coverage and support for Employee Health Services. This position will provide coverage for the Employee Health Nurse during scheduled absences and assist with the daily operations of Employee Health Services, including onboarding physicals, employee health screenings, fit testing, and seasonal influenza vaccination clinics.
Essential Responsibilities
Administer seasonal influenza vaccinations during Employee Health flu vaccination clinics.
Provide coverage for the Employee Health Nurse during scheduled days off, vacation, sick leave, and other absences.
Assist with the day-to-day clinical operations of Employee Health Services.
Conduct and assist with new employee onboarding physicals, including appropriate health screenings, documentation, and follow-up.
Assist with respiratory protection/fit testing for employees in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Work Location Requirements
The selected candidate must be willing and able to travel between all Hudson Regional Health locations, including:
- Secaucus
- Bayonne
- Hoboken
Work location may vary based on Employee Health staffing requirements, onboarding volume, vaccination clinics, and operational needs.
Schedule Requirements
The PD RN must have flexible availability to work various shifts, including:
6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Schedule flexibility is required to provide coverage for the Employee Health Nurse and to support flu vaccination clinics, onboarding activities, fit testing, and other Employee Health operational needs.
Skills Required
- Active, unencumbered New Jersey RN license
- Current BLS certification
- 1 to 2 years of experience in occupational health, ambulatory care, medical-surgical, or emergency nursing
