The Registered Nurse is responsible for overseeing the care of the patient throughout the entire surgical process though assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in accordance with organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
QualificationsEducation/Certification:
- Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
- Current North Carolina RN License.
- BLS upon hire
- PALS within 6 months.
- ACLS within 6 months.
Experience:
- One year of clinical experience for charge responsibilities.
Skills Required
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current North Carolina RN license
- Basic Life Support certification upon hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within six months
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification within six months
- One year of clinical experience for charge responsibilities
