FT Days, flex - Clinical Coordinator for Critical Care Units, Progressive Care Unit and Cardiac Step Down Unit
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator/Educator assists the Department Director and or Patient Care Manager (s) in ensuring the delivery of safe patient care through the nursing process by assisting with patient care issues, providing education and serving as clinical resource to staff during the assigned shift. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator works with the Professional Development Department to ensure all staff are compliant with required education and routinely assess the clinical competencies for appropriate staff. rec:max
Preferred QualificationsCurrent unrestricted AL or Multi State RN licensure; BSN preferred. BLS required; ACLS and PALS required within in 6 months of start date.
3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, 3 years of recent ICU bedside experience preferred.
Skills Required
- Current unrestricted Alabama or Multi-State Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- BSN
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (required within 6 months of start)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification (required within 6 months of start)
- Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Three years of recent ICU bedside experience
