Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the clinic/practice setting serves as a licensed, professional nurse, responsible for direct patient care, clinical decision-making, patient education, and coordination of care in collaboration with healthcare providers. The RN triages patients, assesses needs, administers treatments, and provides nursing interventions, ensuring safe and high-quality care. The RN plays a critical role in patient advocacy and care planning, serving as a key resource for both patients and clinical staff. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to work autonomously within the nursing scope of practice.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice (Kentucky, Indiana, etc).
Basic Life Support via the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire, if not already obtained. (Some RN positions require ACLS certification. Please seek departmental guidelines.)
Associate's degree in nursing or higher from an accredited RN program.
