Join us as a Risk Market Data Analyst
- We’ll look to you to take responsibility for market data processes, capturing and maintaining high quality market data and remediation work in relation to market and counterparty credit risk
- Working directly with risk managers, you’ll determine suitable sources of data, and suitable proxies where no such source exists
- This is an opportunity to gain exposure while assisting auditors in relation to market data and market data systems matters
- We're offering this role at senior analyst level
As a Risk Market Data Analyst, you’ll be completing the accurate and timely feed of data to make sure that correct risk is captured in the risk model in line with regulatory guidelines and regulations, while providing input for capital calculations and making sure correct market data methodologies are applied to all products.
You’ll also be:
- Assisting in the preparation of internal and regulatory weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, in relation to market data
- Producing impact analysis reports following changes to market data
- Assisting in requirements gathering for market data systems used within market and counterparty credit risk
- Providing input on the architecture of market data platforms, and methods of data delivery
- Maintaining controls, risk assessment and assurance programmes, monitoring risk and controls to identify, access and manage any material risks which may arise
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the ability to grasp steep learning curves and a fundamental understanding of basic finance concepts. You’ll also need an understanding of value at risk or counterparty credit risk.
In addition, you’ll need:
- At least one year of relevant experience
- MBA in finance is a mandatory qualification
- Chartered financial analyst and/or financial risk manager certifications are advantageous,
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to work closely with other teams
- Experience of working with and sourcing data from external data vendors
- Familiarity with relevant applications and software
- Experience of producing regulatory reports and interacting with auditors
