Your new opportunity


We're looking for a Risk Insurance Paraplanner to join our Risk Insurance team in Melbourne or Newcastle. In this role, you'll work closely with our Risk Advisors, supporting the delivery of high-quality risk insurance advice and helping clients achieve confidence and clarity in their financial future.


Ideally, you'll bring existing paraplanning experience and a strong understanding of risk insurance. However, if you're eager to build a career in Risk Insurance, we are also open to considering a Trainee Paraplanner who is motivated to learn and develop within a supportive environment.

What you'll do
  • Prepare or assist with insurance research, analysis, and strategy recommendations.
  • Prepare insurance quotes, Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs) and review documentation.
  • Support insurance application, underwriting, and policy administration processes.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, industry super funds, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with client reviews, ongoing service activities, and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and file notes.
  • Build your technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
What you'll bring
  • Previous paraplanning experience, ideally within risk insurance, or a genuine desire to build a career in Risk Insurance
  • Experience preparing or supporting the preparation of advice documents such as SOAs and ROAs (highly regarded).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline (highly regarded).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, team-first mindset and willingness to learn and grow.
  • A commitment to delivering quality outcomes and acting in clients' best interests.

Skills Required

  • Previous paraplanning experience, ideally within risk insurance, or a genuine desire to build a career in risk insurance
