We are looking for a skilled Risk Controlling Manager with strong technical expertise in financial risk management to support the Head of Risk Controlling & Financial Risk Management in the implementation and compliance of Risk Management requirements (internal and external regulatory requirements) for the bank and the group.

Your Role
  • Carry out risk inventory and create the overall risk profile of the bank and the group.
  • Operational fulfillment of risk management and controlling processes (identification, assessment, control, monitoring and communication) for the bank. Specially CSRBB, IRRBB, credit, operational and liquidity risk.
  • Develop and maintain System of Risk Indicators and Risk Early Detection Procedures for Financial Risk for the bank and the group.
  • Monitor the risk situation and risk-bearing capacity as well as review the limits set for the bank and the group.
  • Prepare risk reports and presentation to Financial Risk Management and relevant stakeholders if requested for the bank
  • Participate in knowledge sharing among the financial risk team
  • Report on «Risk Management» and related initiatives to Solaris management, its implemented Committees when requested.
  • Coordinate and participate internal/external meetings with Auditors, regulators and other third party stakeholders if requested for the bank and the group.
  • Fulfill relevant tasks related to outsourcing agreement for Risk Management related processes.

  • 3+ years of experience in financial risk management in a retail bank, financial institutions or relevant industries, with specific focus on CSRBB, IRRBB, credit, operational and liquidity risk.
  • Solid economic, business, mathematical/statistical knowledge.
  • Educational degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Management, or any other related field.
  • Good understanding of software for risk management. Comfortable using AI tools to support risk analysis, reporting, and process workflows. Able to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply sound professional judgment, particularly in regulatory and risk contexts where explainability and auditability are essential.
  • Good knowledge of German banking law and regulatory standards related to risk management.
  • Fluent in English to engage with all international team members within the company. German communication skills are a strong advantage.
