What We'll Bring:
A key responsibility of the TransUnion UK Risk & Compliance function is to ensure that business issues are managed to support and facilitate the identification and remediation of any impact. TransUnion's Global Capability Centers (GCCs) which provide resource support and services to TransUnion UK are operated in line with expected UK service requirements, and risk management requirements are adhered to as an integral part of everyone's day-to-day role and responsibilities.
What You'll Bring:
- Work closely with the Business Issue Case Manager to ensure reported business issues are appropriately logged, actions tracked and closed.
- Engage in regular meetings with key stakeholders to facilitate the appropriate investigation and analysis into reported business issue by the first line functions.
- Act as a key contact to inform/escalate to TransUnion UK any business issues arising in the GCC which may impact service provision to TransUnion UK.
- Track and support the completion of assigned actions with first line stakeholders, to support the remediation of identified impact to both service provision and/or UK consumers.
- Perform reviews of current and previous business issues to identify recurring or systemic issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and complete documentation that records the actions assigned through first line engagement and the status of regular action tracking.
- Support the Business Issue Case Manager with the preparation of high-quality papers, reports, and regular MI outputs for risk governance committees and forums.
- Support the Business Issue Case Manager with maintaining TransUnion UK specific issue management policy and other associated procedural documentation.
Impact You'll Make:
Essential
- Experience of operating within a compliance, risk, audit, or similar assurance function of a regulated Financial Services firm.
- Aptitude for learning, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to quickly understanding new and complex information.
- Methodical, thorough and diligent, with strong attention to detail and strong documentation and report writing and presentation skills.
- Effective organisational and time management skills to be able to manage and prioritise multiple business issues and work to multiple deadlines.
- Confident interpersonal and communications skills (both orally and in writing) to effectively build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong ability to present detail and data effectively and appropriately for different audiences/ stakeholders.
- Ability to use standard Microsoft products to a high standard, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong knowledge of either risk management principles and techniques or compliance-related and risk and control frameworks.
Preferred
- A working knowledge of the UK financial services sector and FCA regulation.
- Knowledge of data management environments to be able to make critical observations and drive continual improvement.
- Good understanding of data protection regulation regimes, such as UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Please note it is a requirement of the Global Capability Centre Africa that you reside in a home that is fibre ready; and has space for you to be able to work comfortably and confidentially on a day-to-day basis for the purpose of your proposed employment. You can be based anywhere in South Africa that has fibre, but will not be able to work in a location outside of South Africa.
A Minimum of a 100 Meg Fibre line is required, should you be successful, you will need to upgrade your line or install fibre in order to work effectively.
