The Role
Are you an analytical and detail-orientated individual looking to apply your compliance or payments expertise in a dynamic, fast-growing environment?

Thredd are looking for a Risk & Compliance Analyst to come join our team in our London office. As our Risk & Compliance Analyst, you’ll support our Compliance team in maintaining strong second-line oversight through monitoring, testing, and regulatory alignment across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll help strengthen Thredd’s governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks within a fast-paced payments environment, ensuring we continue to operate with integrity and confidence.

You’ll work closely with experienced leaders across the business, gaining exposure to key initiatives that drive resilience and enable growth. It’s an exciting opportunity to apply your analytical mindset and make a real impact in an evolving, innovative industry.

What you'll be doing as a Risk & Compliance Analyst
  • Supporting second-line monitoring, testing, and remediation tracking across key compliance areas.
  • Developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures that reflect regulatory expectations.
  • Researching, analysing, and summarising regulatory developments to identify business impacts.
  • Assisting with third-party and vendor risk reviews, ensuring effective oversight and documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate compliance data, dashboards, and audit trails for reporting and assurance.
  • Collaborating across teams to strengthen internal controls and enhance operational resilience.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve compliance processes through automation and smarter design.

What you'll bring to the Risk & Compliance Analyst position

  • Experience in payments, fintech, audit, risk, compliance, or financial crime.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to accuracy and documentation quality.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex information and connect it to practical business needs.
  • Understanding of AML/CTF, data protection, or operational resilience (advantageous but not essential).
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging across teams.
  • Proactive and organised, with a methodical approach to managing multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in regulatory change and continuous improvement.

Where you’ll work 

Our working model varies depending on the specific role and team requirements. We strive to provide flexibility whilst ensuring that each position is best supported for optimal collaboration and performance.  

This Risk & Compliance Analyst position requires you to be in the London office (Holborn) two days per week.
