As a Coordinator.Production Control.IV, you will oversee and optimize our production control systems, with a focus on intercompany logistics and engineering reworks. Your responsibilities will include managing the flow of rework components, collaborating with engineers and production teams, and ensuring efficient operations. This role is crucial for maintaining our production targets and requires a detail-oriented, organized individual.
Responsibilities- Manage intercompany shipments of rework components, verifying SN, PN, and BOM details.
- Visually inspect parts, prepare job packs, and organize components for reworks.
- Work with Scheduler/Buyer to move reworks between staging, shop, and secondary processes.
- Prepare and organize shipments to outside vendors and district operations facilities.
- Assist in daily forklift and crane inspections, ensuring equipment readiness.
- Support shop housekeeping and 5S initiatives, including cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with engineers to stage and rework engineering prototype components.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
- Generate and analyze production reports, providing insights for process improvements.
- Assist management with various tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required, with knowledge of Office 365 (Excel/Word).
- Minimum of two (2) years of warehouse, manufacturing, or production support experience is required.
- Comfortable working in both an office and warehouse environment, including around heavy industrial equipment and in a non-climate-controlled facility.
- Experience in production control or a similar role is preferred, with a focus on logistics.
- Experience working with part numbers (PNs), serial numbers (SNs), and Bills of Materials (BOMs) is preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle parts weighing up to 50 lbs, following safety guidelines.
- JD Edwards (JDE) or other ERP system experience is a plus.
- Valid forklift and crane certifications or willingness to obtain them is essential.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset are key.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration.
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends, as production demands may require.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Experience with intercompany logistics and engineering reworks is an advantage.
