Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
In this position, you’ll be based in the Bristol office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Find out more about our flexible work culture at computershare.com/flex.
We give you a world of potential
This is a great opportunity to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in our Bristol office, UK. We’re looking for a HR Rewards & Benefits Operations Specialist to join our global People Experience Hub within Shared Services. You’ll be part of a collaborative, cross-trained team supporting employees worldwide and ensuring a smooth and positive experience across benefits, pensions, and recognition programmes.
This is a project-based, cyclical role where no two periods look the same. You’ll play a key part in delivering core reward activities while helping to enhance processes and systems, including SharePoint and broader reward programme delivery. Alongside this, you’ll work extensively with reward data, ensuring accuracy across systems, supporting reporting requirements, and using insights to improve processes and inform decision-making.
A role you will love
This is a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll take ownership of both day-to-day reward operations and key projects. You’ll play an important role in delivering high-quality reward services while contributing to continuous improvement and overall team success.
In this role, you will:
- Manage reward administration activities, including benefit changes, vendor queries, and invoice processing in partnership with Finance and external providers
- Support employees and managers with reward-related queries, ensuring a high-quality and timely service
- Support and deliver key projects, including cyclical reward events like benefit enrolment windows and system/process enhancements
- Work with reward data to produce reports, validate information, and ensure accuracy across systems such as Oracle Fusion
- Participate in testing within the Reward Centre of Excellence and contribute to improving tools and ways of working
- Act as a delegate for your manager, joining stakeholder calls, sharing ideas, and constructively challenging to drive the best outcomes
You’ll also provide coaching and support to less experienced team members, helping to build capability and maintain a high-performing, collaborative team environment. You’ll be encouraged to share ideas and play an active role in shaping improvements.
There are naturally busy periods aligned to reward cycles and deadlines, alongside detailed administrative and data-focused tasks. However, this is balanced by the opportunity to work independently, influence decisions, and make a meaningful impact on how reward services are delivered and experienced by employees.
What will you bring to the role?
You’ll bring a strong operational mindset, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders. Key to this role is being an effective communicator, capable of building relationships across departments and regions.
We’re looking for someone who is professional, focused, and engaged, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. You’ll be confident presenting yourself in a hybrid environment and comfortable contributing in meetings.
Key skills and experience include:
- Experience in HR administration, reward, or benefits (essential or strongly preferred)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working with systems and handling data accurately
- Strong Excel capability, including pivots, lookups, and formula-based analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to challenge constructively and communicate with confidence
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a willingness to learn and adapt
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working in a people-focused HR environment while also developing your analytical skills. This is a great opportunity to build your experience in reward, combining operational delivery with data insight, within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
