All about the role:
The Reverse Logistics Business Analyst connects Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to optimize the returns process. This role manages end‑to‑end returns for B2B and D2C channels—including authorization, freight coordination, product disposition, and scrap handling—while ensuring accurate reporting and timely credits.
The analyst uses data to reduce costs, improve productivity, and monitor KPIs. They gather customer feedback to identify process gaps, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen the returns experience. The role enforces SOPs, partners cross‑functionally, and supports best‑practice implementation across the reverse logistics network.
Where you’ll be:
This position will be based in HQ office, Charlotte NC. This role offers a hybrid work schedule.
What you’ll do:
Drive improvements across key performance indicators (KPIs): return rate, damage rate, claim rate, RMA cycle time, reverse logistics cost per unit, recovery rate and contract compliance.
Lead customer onboarding to ensure standardized contracts, compliance, and clear loading documentation.
Collaborate with sales and finance to refine and optimize the flat damage rate program.
Use data‑driven insights to reduce operating costs, increase productivity, and enhance the customer experience.
Collaborate with Sales and Transportation teams to assess freight‑collect strategies, return freight schedules, and policy impacts.
Streamline chargeback processes to address non-compliance efficiently.
Apply industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into reverse logistics activity across channels, distribution centers, and customer segments.
Facilitate monthly returns reviews with Last Mile team to identify trends and performance insights.
Act as liaison for returns support across Last Mile, EDCs, D2C, CEC, and Warranty teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Strong analytical skills with basic understanding of statistics and supply chain processes.
Minimum 5 years of experience as business analyst or data analyst.
Advanced experience in the use of the Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Communicator, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Power user of SAP and WMS preferred.
