The Role

We are looking for a Revenue Specialist to join our global Finance team in Manila. This is an exciting time to come on board, as we are strengthening our finance team and you will play a key role in shaping our monthly invoicing and revenue recognition processes.

As a Revenue Specialist at Smartly, you will join an international team focused on building a scalable invoicing process that supports a growingly complex product offering. Your main responsibilities will include issuing invoices, resolving billing errors, and maintaining financial and business intelligence databases. You will also provide accurate data and financial reporting to various internal teams, and take part in projects centered on invoicing automation and revenue recognition.

Smartly has rapidly expanded into new markets and currently operates through 12 legal entities worldwide. In this role, you will be part of the Smartly Group finance team, collaborating with a diverse, driven, and supportive international group. As a Revenue Specialist at Smartly, you will...
  • Own our monthly financial closing related to invoicing and revenue recognition matters.
  • Proactively work with our Legal and Global Sales teams on customer contract terms.
  • Be in charge of investigating customer queries related to their invoices, billing corrections, issuing credit memos and updating business intelligence databases.
  • Work with our Revenue Operations team to govern and build scalable, hassle free processes for our Sales and Customer Success Managers.
  • Work with our Billing Development team to automate and improve processes to address business and financial control needs.
  • Other daily finance tasks and routines.
We’re definitely looking for you, if you...
  • Have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in finance or revenue operations.
  • Are experienced with Netsuite and writing SQL queries.
  • Have strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and collaborate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Are detail- and results-oriented, enjoy teamwork, and have a mindset for continuous improvement and automation.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
