Summary

The Services team within Revenue Management specializes in transactional manual billing. The scope includes airline-related products which can't be billed automatically due to technical limitations. This position is in close contact with delivery, reporting and product managers. The Services Analyst is responsible for billing the products under their responsibility.

Key responsibilities

Airline product billing and processing

  • Facilitate monthly information gathering from relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure contractual commitments are billed accurately and deadlines and KPIs are met.
  • Define, review and validate requirements for billing with management supervision.

Accruals

  • Manage accrual information for products under their responsibility.

Billing procedures and controls

  • Provide support in meetings with different divisions/teams in order to streamline the relevant billing information sent to their area.
  • Ensure that any new procedure and /or deadline is aligned with the rest of Revenue Management teams.
  • Ensure sure that internal controls to avoid revenue leakage are followed.

Billing and month-end activities

  • Ensure timely delivery of monthly billing activities and adherence to month-end deadlines.
  • Identify invoicing deviations (discounts, waivers, contractual status...) and obtain proper level of approval
  • Perform monthly billing comparison analysis for products.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Project support

  • Collaborate on projects under the services area as required

The ideal candidate

  • 2 - 3 years in a similar position in a multinational firm, with experience in customer interactions.
  • A strong financial background.
  • Knowledge of main accounting concepts, detailed knowledge of revenues and invoice issuance, costs and related concepts.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Knowledge of SAP 4HANA is considered a plus
  • Fluent in English, advanced level of Spanish is an advantage
