The Finance Operations Associate role:
Key Responsibilities
• Play a key role in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts. Consult with Practice leadership on the relevant inputs and assumptions, as necessary
• Create financial reporting that includes variance and trend analysis. Financial reporting includes key performance statistics, revenue backlog reporting quarterly working capital reviews
• Review reports and analyses with the Operations Manager and Practice leadership. Develop recommendations and follow through on action plans based upon discussions
• Track, review and advise on the financial status of key engagements, highlighting areas of risk or opportunity
• Lead the monthly revenue forecast process for the entire Practice, an important management tool for Practice and Corporate leadership
• Prepare presentation materials and analysis for leadership and management meetings
• Perform various ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
• Meet with new hires to provide overviews of Operations and engagement economics
• Monitor various expense categories to ensure adherence to planned annual spend
• Manage multiple internal relationships within the Practice and Corporate functions. Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent organization and communication skills; with the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and meet deadlines
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
