Epic Revenue Cycle Manager

This is a remote position.

Superlanet is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager for our healthcare client in Texas. This position will provide strategic leadership and oversight for Epic Revenue Cycle applications across a large, integrated healthcare environment. The Revenue Cycle Manager will lead the implementation, optimization, maintenance, and ongoing support of Epic Revenue Cycle solutions while managing a team of Epic application analysts and partnering closely with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Patient Access, HIM, IT, and operational leadership. This is a primarily remote, direct hire position, with occasional travel. 

• Provide leadership and oversight for the full lifecycle of Epic Revenue Cycle applications, including implementation, design, build, testing, go-live, upgrades, optimization, and stabilization.
  
• Lead and mentor a team of Epic Revenue Cycle application analysts, clinical analysts, contractors, and other project resources.
  
• Partner with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Patient Access, HIM, and operational leaders to align Epic workflows with organizational and financial objectives.
  
• Drive workflow and system improvements that support billing accuracy, revenue integrity, cash flow optimization, and operational efficiency.
  
• Oversee Epic application configuration, build integrity, system performance, testing, validation, and documentation.
  
• Participate in Epic governance and promote standardization across applications, departments, and entities.
  
• Identify application, operational, and financial risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  
• Support integrations with third-party systems, clearinghouses, financial platforms, and other enterprise applications.
  
• Manage Epic-related projects, including scope, schedules, resources, vendors, and budgets.
  
• Ensure applications and workflows support HIPAA, CMS, security, regulatory, audit, and accreditation requirements.
  
• Lead change management efforts related to Epic upgrades, releases, enhancements, and new functionality.
  
• Manage vendor relationships, service-level expectations, technology investments, and resource allocation.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Health, Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• 5+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience supporting enterprise Revenue Cycle applications, including 3+ years in a related management role.
  
• Strong experience supporting Epic Revenue Cycle applications within a large hospital system or integrated healthcare delivery network.
  
• Hands-on knowledge of Epic Revenue Cycle modules such as Cadence, Prelude, Resolute Professional Billing (PB), Resolute Hospital Billing (HB), Claims, Charge Capture, and Single Billing Office (SBO).
  
• Strong understanding of healthcare billing, coding, registration, scheduling, reimbursement, and Revenue Cycle operations.
  
• Experience leading technical teams and partnering with operational and executive stakeholders.
  
• Strong problem-solving, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  
• Epic training or certification in one or more applicable Revenue Cycle modules.
  

• Master’s degree.
  
• 7+ years of Epic Revenue Cycle application experience with 5+ years in a leadership or management capacity.
  
• Active Epic certification or accreditation in one or more Revenue Cycle modules.
  
• Experience with Epic technical environments and architecture.
  
• Experience advising senior leadership on application functionality, efficiency, performance, and Revenue Cycle optimization.
  
• PMP and/or ITIL Foundation certification
