The anticipated salary range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00 hourly. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Core Responsibilities
  • Contact insurance companies to identify issues related to unpaid claims, including review of insurance correspondence.
  • Ability to edit and resubmit claims to various insurances either electronically or by paper. 
  • Document activities in various systems in an efficient accurate and timely manner. 
  • Ability to write appeal letters, evaluate and secure the needed documentation from medical providers to justify medical necessity. 
  • Consistently meet and attain required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and report denial trends from payers. 
  • Perform other duties as required. 
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
  • 1-2 years of medical collections/billing, or medical office front desk preferred.
     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficient with MS Office and the ability to navigate multiple platforms.
  • Ability to learn Byram products and therapies. 
  • Strong analytical and time management skills. 
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
