As a Revenue Auditor, you'll review and verify revenue from slots, table games, and poker operations, prepare daily financial reports, maintain regulatory records, and ensure compliance with state gaming regulations and company controls. You'll play a key role in month-end closing activities, support special projects, and help maintain the accuracy and integrity of the casino's financial operations—all while supporting exceptional guest service and teamwork

Responsibilities
  • Audit the casino revenue generated by all slot machines, table games, and poker games. Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules summarizing daily activity.
  • Performs the daily audit of slot machines, table games, and poker games.
  • Controls issuance and tracking of sensitive forms to ensure proper control of the documents.
  • Maintains control of documents to ensure proper distribution.
  • Maintain records of forms and/or documents prepared for and submitted to regulatory and or governmental agencies.
  • Assume various responsibilities and perform various duties on special projects as necessary.
  • Must be familiar with Louisiana gaming statutes and the Louisiana Tax Commission regulations for gaming establishments.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Horseshoe internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Support and maintain Horseshoe courtesy guidelines.
  • Promote outstanding guest relations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Prepares the Daily Operating Report and Division fee remittance.
  • Assist with coordination of month end closing.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus
  • Previous experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or casino hotel operations is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of internal control procedures within gaming operations preferred
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to accurately calculate, reconcile, and interpret financial data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; experience with Access database software preferred
  • Experience with financial and casino systems such as Infinium, CMS, or SDS, or similar platforms is a plus
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and organization
  • Ability to read and interpret financial reports, documents, and procedures
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service–focused approach
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced 24/7 environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, maintaining positive working relationships
