WHAT YOU’LL DO
The primary responsibility of the Revenue Audit Manager, under the direction of the Operations Controller, is to provide day-today oversight, review, and direction for all gaming, non-gaming audits and count team operations and ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and department standard operating procedure requirements.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for supervising and managing teams in the Revenue Audit department and Count Department.
Ensure compliance with the property internal control standards, established Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS), regulations and statutes established by Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Ensures and reviews daily, monthly, and quarterly journal entries are entered and posted timely.
Review financial and statistical reports and balance sheet reconciliations ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Oversee all month-end, quarter-end, and annual compliance requirements of the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), Clark County, and State of Nevada.
Identifies key technical and operational risk issues and ensures that there are sufficient controls in place to minimize negative occurrences.
Manage count team including count operations, MICS, policy & procedure training, scheduling, performance reviews, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Monitors the count team during the count and drop process to assure that all procedures and processes are being performed correctly.
Ensures the integrity and accuracy of all count room transactions and reports.
Facilitates the flow of information by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with all Audit and Count team members.
Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and priorities of the Revenue Audit and Count team departments.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position oversees the revenue audit and count teams.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field and/or equivalent
Experience working in a leadership position in hospitality, finance, audit and/or equivalent.
Experience working with all levels of management, including executives and consulting with various departments.
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, innovative, flexible, and task-oriented, and can work independently with minimal direction.
Able to handle multiple tasks and establish priorities with excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in computer applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and Word, PowerPoint a plus)
Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams.
Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to write reports, department procedures and correspondence.
At least 21 years of age
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Registration
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, unassisted in the performance of specific tasks as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
Close spaces while working with others.
