The successful candidate will be a key contributor to many departmental goals/objectives and lead multiple projects impacting PTC’s worldwide finance community. You will have the opportunity to interface across multiple functional organizations outside of the revenue team, as well as will work closely with colleagues across the broader revenue team to understand both revenue recognition complexities and various financial analyses. PTC is undergoing a transformation to transition our business into a best-in-class subscription company with cloud-based and on-premise offerings. The Revenue Assurance team is responsible for navigating the complexities associated with our transition to a new business model, the adoption of new regulatory rules and the revenue impact, ensuring that our systems recognize revenue properly and the accounting treatment is in accordance with US GAAP. We are a highly motivated, high performing multi-national organization with team members in the US, Europe and Asia.
Day-To-Day:
- Perform contract reviews for revenue-related contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment under ASC606 and document conclusions
- Review, recalculate, and analyze the accounting of revenue contracts in the revenue accounting automation system and communicate any required adjustments and/or revenue judgements to the Revenue Accounting team
- Collaborate with Global Support, Global Services and Cloud Services to ensure revenue is recognized accurately
- Assist in updating internal revenue policies and procedures and ensure procedures are followed in compliance with the Company’s SOX controls
- Coordinate and/or review and respond to internal and external audit queries for corporate quarterly and annual audits to ensure auditors are receiving required information in an accurate and timely manner.
- Clarify operating procedures and help drive process improvement initiatives
- Assist in the compilation of various financial statement disclosures

PTC determines compensation using objective and gender‑neutral criteria, including relevant professional experience, skills, qualifications, role responsibilities, and the role’s geographic location.
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is 65,000 – 161,000 RON for the stated work location. This range reflects the expected remuneration for the role at the time of posting.
In addition to base salary, the position may be eligible to participate in a performance‑based variable compensation plan, where applicable, in accordance with established plan rules and local legal requirements.
Final compensation will be determined within the stated salary range, based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience relative to the role’s requirements and the applicable internal compensation framework.
Eligible employees may also be offered the opportunity to participate in PTC’s Employee Share Purchase Programme (ESPP), subject to local eligibility criteria and applicable law.
