The HPE Revenue Analyst, will provide significant contribution to the Revenue accounting function for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, reporting into the Revenue Accounting Analyst.

This role will have responsibility for Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Revenue Accounting and will partner with business unit finance teams, corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A), tax and others as necessary to provide Revenue accounting analysis and support on transactions and accounting issues. The analyst will communicate and drive adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization’s financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results externally.

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities:

• The HPE Finance Revenue Analyst, will provide significant contribution to the Revenue accounting function for Hewlett Packard enterprise, reporting into the Revenue Accounting Analyst; This role will have responsibility for Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Revenue Accounting and will partner with business unit finance teams, corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A), tax and others as necessary to provide Revenue accounting analysis and support on transactions and accounting issues (including revenue recognition)
• Analyze contract and prepare revenue recognition checklist
• Subject matter expertise include: Revenue and Embedded Leases  

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus in accounting, finance, business, accounting (e.g., CPA (or equivalent), MBA) preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in a finance function. Big four public accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience with technology industry and international companies preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles under US GAAP. Revenue knowledge on Restructuring, Product Financing Arrangements, Tax Incentives, Lease Accounting, VIEs is preferred.
• Experience in researching and interpreting complex Revenue accounting and financial reporting issues.
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent people management skills, catered to a wide variety of audiences
• Self-starter who is able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills, catered to a wide variety of audiences
• Experience in business application (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SAP)
