THE ROLE

As a Revenue Analyst at Indie Campers, you will be part of the Revenue 1P team, which focuses on our Own Rental business, that manages the rental of our own fleet across our 70+ locations in 22 different countries. This team is responsible for defining the strategy, building the processes and developing the guidelines for the Revenue 1P activity across the company.
You will be joining our Revenue 1P team in our HQ, reporting directly to the Own Rental Director, and working very closely with the Pricing, E-commerce, Predictive Modelling, and Stock specialists inside the Revenue 1P team, and with other teams such as Growth, and Operations (Asset Management, Customer Satisfaction).


WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

The Revenue Analyst is expected to provide support to the Revenue 1P team and work across its different functional areas:

  • Stock:
    • Provide the data, and support the analysis and decision-making processes for Fleet Allocation (how many new vehicles to procure, which models, and where to allocate them)
    • Support the annual Doolittle project, by defining the guidelines for the distribution of new vehicles to their intended location
    • Support the definition of guidelines and processes to decide, on a day-to-day basis, how we manage our stock and define where each vehicle should be (incl. the definition of incentive schemes for customers to move the fleet according to our requirements)
    • Support the data teams in the continuous development of our Stock algorithms, being the business stakeholder responsible for ensuring business challenges are being tackled 
  • Pricing:
    • Define the guidelines to establish pricing, the processes to execute price adjustments and to track the underlying impacts
    • Support the data teams in the continuous development of our Pricing algorithms, being the business stakeholder responsible for ensuring business challenges are being tackled
  • Predictive Modelling
    • Support the continuous forecasting of our business performance, by defining the guidelines and contributing to the hands-on building of the models that support the forecasting processes (incl. annual budget exercise)
    • Communicate and share the outputs of the forecasting exercises and underlying consequences for the business to the other teams of the organization
  • E-commerce
    • Continuous funnel analysis, understanding how it works and our customers’ behavior, ensuring the identification of improvement opportunities, developing those opportunities and ensuring their implementation
    • Coordinate with the Product team for the continuous development of our offering (incl. the physical product - the vehicle, ancillaries, insurance, distance packages, out of hours services, non-refundable rates) and for the implementation of new products & services (e.g., additional payment solutions)
  • Commercial Planning and Trading:
    • Support the establish and maintain a framework to guide regional teams in their day-to-day trading activities, providing a playbook for issue diagnosis (root-cause analysis) and to establish the actions to tackle such issues
    • Monitor the execution of the stock and pricing guidelines by the regional teams


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Management or a related field;
  • Entry level role, up to 3 years of professional experience;
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to read and process large sets of data, identify patterns and derive relevant business insights;
  • Modelling skills, knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus,
  • Ability to communicate clearly and in a structured way, both spoken and written;
  • Autonomy, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a team are essential;
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with ever-changing situations;
  • You are motivated by taking ownership of your projects;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
