Position Summary:
The role is responsible for oversight of the monthly and quarterly processes for measuring and recording the company’s revenue relating to its credit recovery business. This manager is a key team member interfacing with IT, FP&A, Operations, and Accounting team members in order to complete accounting processes in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and analyze data using ASC 326 Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) applications

Manage day-to-day revenue accounting tasks and play a key role in the month-end close process

Review/perform monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis

Participate in completion and documentation of global revenue process controls

Identify analytical trends and key drivers in the revenue model
-
Work closely with external audit team regarding all quarterly review and annual audit requirements
-
Partner with management on continuous improvement of the revenue process
-
Mentor junior team member and provide technical guidance and support

Assist the Revenue Controller with other ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned

Collaborate with colleagues across Accounting, IT, FP&A, Operations, and other departments, including colleagues based outside the US
Education and/or Experience:
-
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

7+ years experience and knowledge of US GAAP to include revenue recognition and credit losses

Strong MS Excel skills [ability to produce graphs/tables, pivots, lookups, macros]

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple overlapping workstreams

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Experience working for a global company with multiple currencies

Experience utilizing ERP systems (i.e. Oracle)

Solid analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:
Office/Sedentary: Work is performed in an office environment with telephones, personal computers, and printers. The office environment is an open workspace with individual workstations. The noise level of the environment is usually moderate. This position is a sedentary position with seldom to occasional lifting of less than 11 pounds; requires frequent lifting of less than 1 pound; and may require standing less than or equal to 1/3 of the day.
