C3 AI has an immediate opening for a Revenue Accounting Manager located onsite at our offices in Redwood City, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Review contracts and ensure proper revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606
- Manage the day-to-day order to cash cycle, including but not limited to: billing, accounts receivable management, and collection efforts
- Continuously improve revenue operating and reporting processes; the qualified individual will be expected to drive systems improvement and automation projects
- Ownership of reconciliation and analysis for the balance sheet accounts in the Order-to-Cash cycle
- Help drive the accounting close and reporting process for the Order-to-Cash cycle
- Review monthly revenue accruals, and assist with financial statement preparation & analysis
- Research and review applicable sales tax calculations; review monthly sales tax filings
- Assist management with assessment and documentation of internal controls
- Assist management with the assessment and documentation for unusual revenue transactions
- Write and review technical accounting memos regarding complex revenue transactions
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience working in revenue accounting functions, demonstrating expertise in the responsibilities outlined above
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study; CPA is preferred
- Experience with high-growth companies, ideally in the Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) industry
- Must be able to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize work assignments for efficiency
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work as part of a team
- Ability to deliver results and meet expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of general accounting concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- NetSuite experience, a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

California Pay Range
$115,000—$135,000 USD
