Title: Revenue Accounting Associate

Job Summary
The US revenue team is responsible for producing monthly accruals and invoices for approximately $800 million in revenue for 150+ portfolios. Both the volume and complexity of the revenue calculations has increased resulting in the need to grow the team. The position will have responsibility setting up and performing calculations using the revenue system, revenue accounting with Workday, invoicing, data management and reporting results to key stakeholders. Position will require a person with strong ability to multitask and juggle different work activities and shift attention from one task to another.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze client investment management agreements to determine management fee rates and the corresponding fee calculation for public funds
- Work closely with other business units to obtain valuations for monthly Revenue close postings and quarterly invoicing of clients
- Perform monthly variance analysis and research any discrepancies to ensure accuracy
- Research and determine proper posting of client cash receipts
- Perform various ad-hoc requests and reporting
- Provide deliverables for SOX Reporting and financial audit
- Analyze team controls and efficiencies, provide recommendations where necessary
- Help Maintain proper data and records within the Revenue system, ensuring that static data is well maintained, accurate and useful.
- Fulfil additional, relevant, tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or accounting is preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting environment or internship
- Financial Services experience a plus
- Workday experience preferred
- Proficiency with Excel and working with large data
- Strong written and communication skills
- Able to work independently and multitask
