Accounts receivable
- Make journal entries related to return on accounts receivable. (Retail Stores and Ecommerce)
- Confirm and adjust accounts receivable balance at the end of every month.
- Cooperate with IT team and US Finance team to support linking sales-related data from store sales record with accounting system and other reporting systems and create reporting.
- Support Taiwan revenue related tax invoices issuance and provide to landlords.
Support month/year-end closing
- Appropriately account for month-end and year-end closing including various accrued expenses.
- Confirm and adjust balance for account titles in the balance sheet.
- Support month end VAT tax invoice collection and VAT tax calculation.
- Support Taiwan annual audit and income tax filing.
Finance Administrative
- Support treasury related document submission and check deposit.
- Support document filings and any local tax related tasks.
Environment control
- Perform tasks related to ensuring compliance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principle) and Taiwan tax requirements (including accounting audit, SOX Act, and tax declaration).
Intermediate accounting/book keeping skills - Generally accepted accounting principles in Taiwan
Excellent PC skill (primarily for MS Word and Excel-related spreadsheet software)
Excellent teamwork player and able to work independently
Flexibility for pursuing tasks in the rapidly growing environment
Intermediate English proficiency is required, Japanese language is an added advantage
Bachelor's degree in accounting/management accounting school graduate is preferrable
+3 years of experience in accounting, prefer FMCG and Oracle experience
