Mission Statement:

Expand the company service business with current and new customers through technical leadership and increased sales within the Automation & communication range. Build retrofit and upgrade market position by locating, developing, refining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. Ensure business growth through direct involvement with service sales specialists, bids and proposals and execution teams to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will develop comprehensive understanding of global solutions and service products and implement the strategy throughout APAC region.

  • You will act as a matter expect for solution identification and vetting at tendering stage. that includes protection, automation, and communication solutions.

  • You will promote the portfolio of retrofit & upgrade services and support the value proposition, develops negotiating strategies.

  • You will identifying potential opportunities from the Installed base, decision makers and influencers for major accounts and opportunities with close collaboration with local service sales and market managers.

  • You will share knowledge, experiences and expertise with key clients, customers and third parties, plus work with regional sales organization to effectively target prospects using a regional team approach and prepare and present presentations for internal and external customers.

  • You will be a single point of contact for GA retrofit portfolio and drive sales initiatives to promote implementation of retrofits and upgrade and create added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy and ensures the successful outcome by using value base selling.

  • You will be involved in company Specific Tasks & responsibilities like to comply with the Company Code of Conduct, provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner, undertake such other tasks that may be reasonably required, adhere to all Company processes and procedures and enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interest.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in engineering and or field service of protection and automation systems.

  • In-depth knowledge of HV and MV Substation protection systems and its applications CAP 505, PCM 600, HE IED’s, Substation automation systems, Digital substation, and its applications Automation Systems: MICROSCADA, COM 581, COM 500,

  • Knowledge about various Industrial Communication protocols e.g., IEC61850, Modbus, DNP3, OPC IEC 101, IEC 104 and Operating System: MS DOS, Windows.

  • The candidate must be open for travel within APAC region in this position. And able to prepares reports as required for senior management.

  • Proficiency in both Spoken and Written English is mandatory, additional Asian language is a plus.
